MORE ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Joshuanna Woods is a veteran, entrepreneur, author, and community advocate based in South Georgia. With over 16 years of service in the Georgia Army National Guard and experience as a Federal Civilian (GS-09 Production Controller), her foundation is rooted in logistics, structure, leadership, and resilience.
Her mission is clear:
to create spaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to evolve—personally, professionally, and collectively.
Love Deprived LLC stands as a reflection of that mission—
a commitment to acknowledging the love we deserve.
Her professional journey spans military operations, administrative management, and community engagement—equipping her with the ability to navigate complex systems while remaining grounded in service to others. However, it is her lived experiences—navigating trauma, systemic barriers, and personal transformation—that shaped the vision behind Love Deprived LLC.
Joshuanna is the founder of Love Deprived LLC, a purpose-driven organization designed to bridge the gap between personal healing and professional development through trauma-informed, community-centered programming. Her work integrates creative expression, emotional intelligence, and real-world application to support individuals, families, and underserved communities.
As a self-published author, she has developed guided journals that encourage reflection, accountability, and healing—creating space for individuals to process their experiences while reclaiming their narratives. Her upcoming projects expand on this foundation, blending storytelling, structured journaling, and advocacy.
Beyond authorship, Joshuanna leads initiatives focused on:
-
Professional and leadership development
-
Community wellness and engagement
-
Family-centered programming through the FOCUS Model (Functioning Independently, Optimizing Opportunities, Considering Others, Utilizing Time Wisely, Sustaining Development)
-
Trauma-informed education and advocacy
She is also an Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV) participant through Texas A&M University, where she continues to refine scalable solutions, strategic partnerships, and sustainable business models that support both community impact and economic development.
Joshuanna’s work is deeply rooted in authenticity, accountability, and purpose. She does not position herself as the solution—but as a facilitator of awareness, growth, and alignment.
